SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY -- The victim of a violent gas station robbery came face-to-face with his alleged attacker Wednesday morning in Lackawanna County.

Tolulpoe Oshun-Williams was in court for his preliminary hearing. HeÕs accused of using a knife to rob a North Scranton gas station late last year. The clerk was injured and actually chased the suspect outside where he was caught by police.

Tolulpoe Oshun-Williams turned his head as he left court Wednesday morning, but his mother didn't hold back her emotions. She got right in the face of our camera and even tried to stop us from taking pictures.

Oshun-Williams is accused of robbing this Sunoco on North Main Avenue December 30th with a knife. Clerk Adam Ocasio was on duty. ÒItÕs pretty shocking, something like that to happen. You don't expect it to happen to just you, you know what I mean? You're just sitting there working -- trying to make a living," he said.

In court Ocasio told a judge how the suspect was wearing a ski mask during the robbery and jumped over the counter with a knife.

ÒHe had a knife in one hand and then he tried to come at me and hold me with the other, but you really can't say too much on all the extra stuff. We'll just see what happens," said Ocasio.

Ocasio had been working at the gas station for nine months. He was injured and still has the scars to prove it. ÒI got cut on my wrist a little bit, but it was nothing major," he said.

Ocasio chased the suspect out of the store after he lost his mask. He says he's 100% sure police arrested the right man. ÒSometimes people do stupid things. Everybody makes mistakes. You just have to accept the consequences that you get for it," he added.

In court this morning the defense lawyer for Oshun-Williams tried to raise doubts about whether police arrested the right man.

He said the Oshun Williams didn't try to run away didn't give a fake name and didn't have a mask or knife on him.

Both of those items recovered after the scuffle inside the store.
