LUZERNE COUNTY - Henry Platt was arrested late Tuesday night and charged with criminal homicide for the beating death of 31-year-old Kimberly Burgess.
Platt's arrest comes seven months after Burgess was killed.
Police say the two lived together in an apartment on Schooley Ave. in Exeter .
Following her murder, several of Burgess's friends told police she was abused by Platt and that she wanted him out of her house.
Burgess was found beaten to death and wrapped in a bed sheet and sleeping bag; her head covered with a plastic bag.
Platt is behind bars in Luzerne Co.
The judge did not grant bail for Platt.
He's due back in court a week from today. | | |
