WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY- A triple murder suspect ,who fled to our area from Virginia this weekend, remains behind bars without bail.

Anastacio Sanchez Miranda, 39, was arraigned Monday morning.

Miranda was arrested Sunday, without incident, in Wilkes-Barre on a fugitive warrant from Prince William County in Virginia.

Police say he killed three people and shot two others at a family gathering in Virginia and he came to Wilkes-Barre to stay with his sister.

Miranda is in jail after a judge denied him bail.

An extradition hearing will be scheduled in the next few days.
