(KINGSTON, Luzerne County) A Luzerne County man will stand trial for murder. 32-year-old Jabbar Wallace of Wyoming waived his homicide charge to court Thursday afternoon, without even showing up for court. Police say Wallace fatally shot 23-year-old Eric Cusaac of Brooklyn, New York inside a bathroom at the Glass Bar in Edwardsville last December. The motive, according to investigators was a minor traffic incident around Thanksgiving. Wallace and his attorney say they will meet with the Luzerne County District Attorney. Attorney Mark Mack spoke with WBRE News, "We're going to have a sit down, we're going to talk about it and what we can work out possibly and we're going to do everything possible to help Jabbar Wallace out." Wallace is being held without bail at the Luzerne County lock up. | |
