PIKE COUNTY- A New Jersey man drowned Friday afternoon at the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area near Dingmans Ferry.
The National Park Service says the 25-year-old drowned in Adams Creek. They say he was with a group of people and was trying to help another swimmer at the time.
Park rangers and a several local fire companies helped recover his body just before 3:00 P. M. | | |
