Nanticoke Gas Station Robbed at Knifepoint - Sunday, April 5, 2009 at 11:00PM EST

NANTICOKE, LUZERNE COUNTY- Police say a man used an 8” hunting knife to threaten a Luzerne County gas station attendant and steal money.
It happened just after 2:00 Sunday afternoon at Swither's gas station on North Market Street in Nanticoke.

Police say the suspect walked into the worker's booth holding the knife and demanded cash. After grabbing the money the bandit took off. The clerk was not hurt.

Police are now looking for a white male in his 20's -- between 5’6” and 6’0” tall. The suspect has a thin build with brown hair below his ears.
