POTTSVILLE, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY- Three people were injured at a high school in Pottsville Thursday afternoon.

It happened at Nativity BVM. School officials say parents of football players were preparing a dinner for the team when one of them turned on the gas stove in the cafeteria. It "flashed over” injuring three people.

Because of this incident there will be no school Friday at Nativity BVM. However extracurricular activities including the football game are still on.

The gas company will be checking the building for any additional problems.
