SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- Reba, the Siberian tiger housed at the Nay Aug Park Wildlife Center, has died. The animal passed away in her cage at the Wildlife Center on Tuesday night. The big cat was 15-years-old.

The animal was taken to the University of Pennsylvania several weeks ago after it suffered a seizure. But tests at that facility failed to detect any medical problems.

Center Director Margret Miller raised the animal from the time it was a cub. She said she sat with Reba on Tuesday night and knew, as she put it, "that we had reached the end."

Miller said, "part of loving things is losing them I guess and that's what happened with Reba."
