NESCOPECK, LUZERNE COUNTY- A Luzerne County councilman is behind bars on child sex charges.

State police say Buddy Stepanski of Nescopeck sexually assaulted a teenage girl.

Troopers say a 15-year-old girl came forward and said it happened last year between the spring and fall.

Stepanski is a member of Nescopeck Borough Council. HeÕs jailed in Luzerne County prison on $50,000 straight cash bail.
