Nescopeck Man Killed in Crash - Monday, June 1, 2009 at 9:30PM EST

NESCOPECK TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY- A well known Nescopeck man has died after a violent crash. 55-year-old William Zehner crashed his car Sunday night.
It happened on Route 93 along a stretch of the highway known as Zehner's Flats -- less than a quarter mile from his home.

State police say Zehner lost control of his car while passing another vehicle. The car crashed into a utility pole.

He was flown to Geisinger Danville where he died this morning.
