1.0000/ 5 rating SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- The United States has 49 new citizens from our area. A special ceremony took place at federal court in Scranton. People from dozens of countries worked hard and waited a long time for this day. For many, it's taken 10 years to become American citizens. Friday, they took their Oath of Allegiance to become American citizens.
