SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- The University of Scranton has officially dedicated Condron Hall, a high rise dormitory to house more than 380 sophomore students.

The building was constructed in less than a year. It's named for Christopher and Margaret, longtime friends and benefactors of the school.

The new dorm features suite-style housing with four students living in two bedroom arrangements. It includes water and energy saving fixtures, a multi-purpose meeting room, shared kitchen spaces and shared multimedia lounges.
