Williamsport, Lycoming County- Performers at Williamsport's Community Arts Center are now taking the stage under a new set of lights.

C. A.C. officials used a $25,000 grant from the Williamsport-Lycoming Community Foundation to purchase the new setup.

They use about half the energy of the old ones while providing the same amount of light. Those new lights made their debut at an acoustic concert by Vince Gill tonight.

With two to three shows per week, the C. A.C.'s new lights will save on energy costs as well as eliminating the need to rent lights for certain shows.
