Williamsport, Lycoming County-

Two new homes were dedicated Friday by the Greater Lycoming Habitat for Humanity. They are the 39th and 40th homes built by Habitat in this area over the past 20 years.

The homes are in Williamsport’s Newberry neighborhood.

One of the new homeowners is a youth counselor; the other is a mental health worker.

Both were extremely appreciative as they were given their new house keys.

Cristopher Keebler said, “Just to see everybody come together as one and be able to complete a project like this, is just amazing. So, my deepest and most heartfelt thanks to everyone. Thank you!”

Greater Lycoming Habitat for Humanity is also currently working on a five-house project in Newberry. It’s expected to be completed in the summer of 2009.
