JESSUP, LACKAWANNA COUNTY - A new manufacturing plant officially opened its doors for the first time Wednesday morning and that means new jobs are coming to Lackawanna County.

The Jessup Small Business Center held a ribbon-cutting for a company called "Two Chefs on a Roll." The company makes fresh and frozen-prepared foods for retail and food service markets.

It's the first East Coast manufacturing facility for the company which is based in California.

"We are starting off with a small work force of about 15 people. Four of those are salaried positions. The remaining eleven are hourly positions. We have mechanics, we have pot washers, we have mixers, we have a plant manager, we have warehouse and shipping," Chief Financial Officer David Trinkle.

The company hopes to add between 60 and 70 employees over the next two years.
