LUZERNE COUNTY - A New York man was shot in Wilkes-Barre last night.

It happened just after 11:00. Police tell us the victim said he was walking along Coal Street when he was shot in the back.

He managed to get to Wilkes-Barre General Hospital where police were called.

Police say he was uncooperative and couldn't remember how he got there. He's expected to survive.
