FRAILEY TWP., SCHUYLKILL COUNTY -- A Schuylkill County hit-and-run sends a paper delivery man to the hospital.

It happened just after 3:00 A. M. Sunday along East Center Street in Frailey Township. Police say 44-year-old John Roundtree of Minersville was stopped on his paper route when 27-year-old Kip Ney of Valley View slammed into him.

Roundtree was trapped in his car -- Ney fled the scene. Emergency crews took Roundtree to the hospital for treatment.

Officers picked-up Ney at his home and was taken for blood testing. Charges are pending.
