PLAINS TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY -It was a night of Fun and Fundraising -- at the Mohegan sun at Pocono Downs in Plains Township.

Many people enjoying a night of live harness racing.. for a good cause.. the Wilkes-Barre YMCA. The evening also included plenty of food and beverages and a lot of excitement from the races.

Jim Thomas the Director of the Wilkes-Barre YMCA tells us "This fund raiser goes to support our children’s program and all the departments have a share in it because they all sell tickets its a great event for the Friends of the YMCA"

More than one-thousand people attended Thursday's event at Mohegan Sun.
