SUNBURY, NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY- An abrupt end to the case of a man accused of stealing money from a synagogue.
Shelley Kolbert pleaded no contest to charges he stole tens of thousands of dollars from Beth-El in Sunbury.
Prosecutors say Kolbert was the project manager on a congregation construction project. They say he instead used the money to fix his own home.
Kolbert was sentenced to 15 to 36 months in prison and must pay back $82,000 in restitution to the synagogue. | |
