SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY - A fire that damaged two homes in North Scranton has been ruled arson.

It has been nearly three weeks since flames damaged the buildings in the 2300-block of Durkin Avenue.

Investigators say the fire was intentionally set in one building. It then spread to the neighboring home.

Scranton's fire chief is still waiting for test results to determine if gas/propane or any other type of devices were used.

One firefighter suffered minor injuries while putting out the fire.
