MONTANDON, NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY - A State Police Fire Marshall has been called in to investigate an early morning fire that heavily damaged a home in Northumberland County.

The flames broke out in the 100-block of Cummings Street in Montandon just after 9:30 AM.

No one was hurt. Investigators say the building was heavily damaged by smoke and water. Roughly 40 firefighters were called in to fight the flames.

The family is staying with relatives after the blaze in Northumberland County.
