Fire damaged a house in Northumberland County Monday morning.

Investigators believe the blaze started in the attic of the home on Madison Avenue in the borough of Northumberland.

The fire broke out around 5:45 and was knocked down within 30 minutes.

No one was home at the time and no injuries were reported.

We're told the fire was most likely caused by an electrical malfunction.
