Office Depot announced its closing some of its stores to cut costs. The company says it plans to shut down 112 under -performing stores in North America over the next three months. That includes stores in Wilkes-Barre, Bloomsburg, and Williamsport.
An additional 14 stores will close when their leases expire next year.

The struggling office-supply retailer also plans to open just 20 instead of 40 new stores in 2009.
