EDWARDSVILLE, LUZERNE COUNTY - ....It was anight to pay tribute to police officers who helped find a missing 15 year old autistic boy and help alert neighbors to a fire.

Edwardsville officials presented service awards to Sgt. Mike Lehman and Officer Dan Lewis. They are being recognized for there life saving efforts last January.

The officers helped locate 1 5-year old Jacob Clarke who disappeared after school back in January. Police, firefighters and volunteers searched a wooded area for some 9 hours, finding the boy in a secluded area of Courtdale.

Officer Dan Lewis crawled into a couple’ shome that was burning and woke them up saving them from the flames. The fire happened back in February. Also Joseph and Beverly Souchak were honored on their 50th anniversary and their commitment to community service
