STROUD TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY- One man is dead after an early morning crash in Monroe County.

It happened on Route 191 in Stroud Township just before 1:00 Wednesday morning.

Police have not released any specific information on the accident, nor identified the victim.

Part of Route 191 was closed for several hours while the wreck was cleaned-up.

Investigators are looking into whether icy conditions may have played a role in the deadly accident.
