MIDDLE SMITHFIELD TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY- One person was injured in a fire in Middle Smithfield Township.

It happened at a home on Pepper Drive in the Monroe Lake Development.

The Red Cross and Salvation Army are helping the family affected by the fire.

The snowy weather made it difficult for firefighters to battle the flames.

A fire truck got stuck on it's way to the home.

There's no word on the person's name who was injured.

Fire crews are now investigating the cause of the fire.
