A family is left picking up the pieces after a fire in Columbia Co. destroyed a restaurant and apartment.

The fire started at the "Orangeville Pizzaria" on Main Street in Orangeville just before 11 o’clock last night.

The restaurant was under renovation and scheduled to reopen in two weeks under the new owner, Butch Snyder.

Snyder told eyewitness news that he spent $30,000 to renovate the place.

There are also two apartments upstairs, but only one was occupied.

Snyder's daughter, a single mother, lives there. She lost everything but made it out unharmed.

A State Police Fire Marshal will be called in to investigate.
