DALLAS, LUZERNE COUNTY- Kenneth Greenwood, Dallas, was arrested last year in Monroe County in an internet sex sting. But, no one knew about it. When it was discovered, the P. I.A. A. banned Greenwood from officiating any sporting event at any school in Pennsylvania until his court case is resolved.

The I-Team obtained court documents that show Greenwood was busted last summer. He was allegedly trying to have contact with a 14-year-old girl on the internet. Greenwood also allegedly sent more than 60 explicit photographs to the girl, who was actually an undercover police officer with the Barrett Township police department.

Greenwood is free on $25,000 unsecured bail. He cannot have unsupervised contact with anyone under the age of 16. There's no indication that he violated those bail terms. But, the I-Team has learned that no one knew, including the the P. I.A. A. and the Dallas School District, that Greenwood was arrested. Greenwood officiated several youth soccer and swimming events at the Dallas campus.

The P. I.A. A. released a statement saying, in short, "We want to protect his rights... but will not place anyone in harm's way." Late Thursday, Greenwood met with Dallas School District officials and agreed to stay off campus until his case is resolved in Monroe County court. P. I.A. A. officials said they had no way of knowing Greenwood was arrested. Eyewitness News could not reach Mr. Greenwood for comment.
