PA Patriot Laid to Rest in Wyoming

WYOMING, LUZERNE COUNTY- A Pennsylvania Patriot originally from Dupont who died from an attack in Afghanistan was laid to rest today.

The funeral mass for 52-year-old Lieutenant Colonel Richard Berrettini was held this morning at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Pittston.

Lieutenant Colonel Berrettini died last Friday, 9 days after his humvee struck a roadside bomb in Afghanistan.

He is survived by a wife and two sons in northwestern Pennsylvania and extended family members in Luzerne County.

The fallen PA Patriot was buried today at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Wyoming.
