PA- Voters across the state of Pennsylvania had another important issue to vote on besides the candidates on election day. They were also asked to make a investment in clean water and sewage systems. The vote came in overwhelmingly yes to the $400 million dollar bond referendum.
A report put together by the Sustainable Water Infrastructure Task Force that Governor Ed Rendell convened earlier in the year said the commonwealth's drinking water and water waste systems face 36.5 billion in capital repairs and upgrades over the next 20 years.
