WYOMING, LUZERNE COUNTY- A special service was held Monday to pay tribute to fallen state troopers.

The Pennsylvania State Police held its annual memorial service in Wyoming. 91-state troopers who were killed in the line of duty were honored.

The first troopers killed were John Henry and Francis Zehringer. They died in a shootout with gangsters in Jefferson County in 1906.

The most recent happened on December 12, 2005. Corporal Joseph Pokorny was shot and killed during a traffic stop in Allegheny County.
