Williamsport, Lycoming County-
In Lycoming County, a local landmark is ready to get back to business after a devastating fire.
Park Pizza in Williamsport was destroyed by an early morning fire in February.
After months of hard work, the popular spot on Memorial Avenue will reopen Saturday at 3pm.
Owner Scott Robinson gave credit to everyone who helped build the place back up.
"A lot of time and a lot of people helping out, community support. You know, it's been a long road but we're finally at the end of it and we're just looking to get up and going a little bigger and better than ever,” Robinson added.
As part of the grand reopening, Park Pizza will auction off the first 10 pies out of the oven.
Proceeds will benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand and a scholarship fund in memory of Hudson Rinker. He's a little boy from the area who recently lost his battle with cancer. | | |
