People Growing Weary of all the Winter Weather

People Growing Weary of all the Winter Weather - Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 4:45PM EST

Eyewitness news was out and about early Wednesday morning when the heaviest snow was falling. Plows were out long before the morning commute trying to keep up with the snow. By the time the morning rush did get started it wasn't much of a rush. Traffic was very slow moving, but lighter than normal thanks to all of the school closings.
Further south road crews kept busy plowing mostly slush later in the morning along Church Street in Hazleton. It was a messy clean-up day but it's better to get this stuff cleaned up now before it refreezes at night.

Eyewitness News was also in Wyoming County Wednesday morning. They got a bit more snow up that way, as usual. A jack-knifed tractor trailer tied up traffic along Route 6 in Meshoppen Township near River Road just before 8:00 A. M.

And in Towanda, Bradford County they’re getting tired of the snow. They’ve been dealing with frequent small storms since way back in late October. They say they’re ready for spring - which is still about 50 days away.
