CHESTNUTHILL TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY - The coroner's office confirms it's a Monroe County man who died in Sunday's small plane accident.

46-year-old Neal Bond of Saylorsburg died when the experimental plane he owned crashed Sunday morning around 10:00 in Chestnuthill Township.

The crash happened behind a home on McIlhaney Road.

It's about a mile from the Pegasus Air Park.

The plane apparently began falling apart in flight.

State police at Fern Ridge turned over the investigation to the Federal Aviation Administration.
