WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY- A man facing charges in connection with a murder from last year in Luzerne County will head to trial.

On Thursday Marcellus Thomas waived all charges to court at his preliminary hearing. Thomas is accused of shooting and killing 19 year old John Johnson and injuring 32 year old Jason Pagliante. The killing happened inside a Pittston apartment back in October of 2007. Police believe the shootings were in retaliation to a robbery of Thomas' friend a week earlier.

Thomas is locked up in Lackawanna County Prison.
