Pittston Township -

The dispute centered on a utility bill for more than one thousand dollars. The fire department didn't pay. The department disagreed with the amount and said the township was responsible for it. The argument came to a head yesterday when the water was shut off. Some say that could put lives in jeopardy.
Township supervisor, Tony Attardo, says even though the water's back on he's taking the fire department to court for the payment.
