Plymouth Fire Called Arson

Plymouth Fire Called Arson - Friday, September 7, 2007 at 6:21PM EST

Friday, Sep 7, 2007 @06:21pm EST
Firefighters from several companies rushed to a business fire in Plymouth.

Investigators say it was intentionally set.
And it wasn't the first time they were at that business.
Firefighters put out at a dumpster fire here at this thrift store in Plymouth at midnight, then four hours later, flames engulfed the Thrift Store on Martz Manor Road.
Louise Davison of neighboring Dan Flood apartments woke up to the flames.
"i heard the sirens and i came out and i seen all the flames real high because i'm in the last building down there. And then i seen the smoke," says Davison.

Fire crews arrived just after 4:30 to see the business ablaze.

Jennifer Rogozinski has worked here since November, and was getting her kids ready for school when she heard the news.
"It's definitely depressing to see your own place of business on fire, your place of work," says Rogozinski.

Clothes and more were sold out of the thrift shop for the past 20 years.

Plymouth fire chief Bill Evans says it was a hard fire to put out.
"It's a problem fire because it has a heavy load of clothing. This one section here is now filled with tons of wet clothing so we have to make access through one of the cinder block walls and hopefully get a backhoe in here to push it out."

Now investigators will look for who they think set the fire.
