MIDDLE SMITHFIELD TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY -- The manhunt is over for a man accused of attacking a state trooper in the Poconos.

23-year-old Corey Johnson from Marshalls Creek turned himself in Saturday. Officers say Johnson got into a scuffle with a trooper after a gun was found in the car he was riding in last Monday night.

He took off and police started the manhunt. Police scoured the Marshalls Creek area with tracking dogs and helicopters since the incident.

Johnson is facing a long list of charges including aggravated assault and resisting arrest. He is locked up in Monroe County.
