EAST STOURDSBURG, MONROE COUNTY- A Monroe County man will stand trial on attempted murder and other charges.

That's the ruling today at a preliminary hearing for William Robinson of Stroudsburg. Police say he attacked another man April 29th in East Stroudsburg on the railroad tracks off Lackawanna Avenue.

Joseph Wombie of Tobyhanna Township, survived the attack. Detectives say the stabbing happened after an argument over a woman.

Robinson remains locked up in Monroe County Prison.
