HONESDALE, WAYNE COUNTY - The suspect in a cold case murder in the Poconos is due to arrive in Wayne County Tuesday evening.

46-year-old Jeffrey Plishka is accused of the sexual assault and murder of Laura Ronning.

The 24-year-old victim was a summer camp counselor at Camp Cayuga in Dyberry Township when she disappeared July 27, 1991.

She was found shot to death the next day down an embankment along a road leading to Tanner's Falls.

Police arrested Plishka last Friday.

He's due to arrive at the state police barracks in Honesdale before he's charged at the Wayne County Courthouse.
