POINT TOWNSHIP, NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY – A teenager driving a stolen car in Northumberland County lead
police chase on a high speed chase and ended in a crash.
It happened this morning around 1:30 in Point Township.
Police say a the driver failed to dim his high beams when passing a police car.
The teenager then sped off topping 100-miles an hour.
The car crashed off route 147 and Ridge Rd., flipping about a dozen times before landing in a field.
The driver is a 17-year-old Selinsgove.
The car was stolen from Susquehanna Valley Nissan 2 hours earlier.
Incredibly, the teen suffered only minor injuries. He faces many charges. | |
