TAYLOR, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- Police have arrested two men wanted in connection with a crime spree that began in Wayne County and ended in a Lackawanna County trailer court.
Investigators say that Gerald Nagota of Browndale and Edward Moyle of Carbondale were tracked to a mobile home in the Rockledge Trailer Park in Taylor after they set a stolen car on fire nearby. Officers say a Scranton police dog picked up their sent at the car and followed it to the trailer.
A spokesman for the Pennsylvania State Police says the crime spree began with a burglary in Wayne County after which a car was stolen. According to police the suspects were involved in two separate hit and run incidents before ditching the pick up truck they were driving on some old coal mining property in Taylor and setting it on fire.
The charges against Nagota and Moyle include arson,criminal mischief, criminal conspiracy, and receiving stolen property. A conviction on those charges could result in prison sentences in excess of 100 years.
