ARCHBALD, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- Police in Archbald say suspicious activities lead to a search of a home on Main Street that turned up a marijuana growing operation.
Officers say they discovered 114 marijuana plants, some still growing, along with fertilizer, PVC piping, potting material, planters, feeding growing charts, and packaging materials. They also confiscated four rifles found on the scene.
The home, according to police, is owned by Eulalia Echevarria, who agreed to turn herself in to investigators. Police are still trying to locate her boyfriend, Jason "Jake" LaJoie of Archbald. Both face charges of manufacturing, possession, and delivery of a controlled substance along with endangering the welfare of children.
