Police Have Leads But Still No Arrest in Abandoned Baby Case - Monday, November 24, 2008 at 5:40PM EST
BERWICK, COLUMBIA COUNTY- Berwick police are still trying to determine who abandoned a newborn girl in the cold. They say they are working several leads but still haven’t found the mother.
That mother left the baby with its umbilical cord still attached in a bag. Charles Drasher found the baby outside his Garfield Avenue home Saturday morning.
The baby is getting hospital care at Geisinger in Danville.
Police want anyone with information to call them. | | |
