SCHUYLKILL/NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTIES -- Police are looking for a convenience store robber who may be involved in more hold-ups.

Officers say a man tried to rob the Pheasant Run Mini-Mart along Route 901 in Butler Township Sunday night around 8:30. The clerk refused to give him money so he took off.

A man fitting the same description robbed a convenience store in Mt. Carmel a short time later. Authorities think the crimes may be related.

They are looking for a white man with a medium build. Police say he's scruffy looking with a mustache. He was wearing a black hoodie with neon letters and may be driving a dark-colored mid-sized sedan.

Anyone with information should call police.
