JENKINS TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY -- Police in Luzerne County are investigating an armed robbery. It happened just before 7:30 Sunday evening at Escape to Paradise Tanning Salon on Main Street in Jenkins Township.

Cops say a man walked in and threatened an employee with a large knife. He got away with an undetermined amount of cash.

The robber is described as a white man, about 5'8" and 150 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing jeans, a white Hollister jacket and a blue bandana over his face.

Anyone with information is asked to call Jenkins Township police or 9-1-1.
