FOSTER TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY- Authorities in Luzerne County continue their investigation into a deadly crash that occurred Tuesday night.
Troopers say 57-year old Luis Ramos lost control of his car around 7:30 on Interstate 80 in Foster Township, near Hazleton. The car struck the median and slammed into a tree killing Ramos on impact.
Ramos was a longtime fixture among business and civic groups and a leader of the Lehigh Valley's Latino community.
He also worked for Pennsylvania Power and Light Company.
