COVINGTON TOWNSHIP, LACKAWANNA COUNTY -- Police in parts of Lackawanna County are investigating a rash of break-ins.
Homes in four communities, including Jefferson, Roaring Brook, Spring Brook and Covington townships have been targeted. The burglars have taken TV's, DVD recorders and other items.
Now state police have stepped in to help in the investigation. They're trying to find out if the break ins are connected.
People are being told to lock their doors and keep an extra close eye on people in their neighborhoods.
