LUZERNE COUNTY - Police in Wilkes-Barre are investigated a bizarre situation Sunday night.

They say a man sprayed lighter fluid on his girlfriend, and then set her on fire early Sunday morning.

Investigators say the woman suffered burns on her neck, chest, and abdomen.

She was treated at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital .

The female victim says she does not plan to file charges at this time.

Police reports show the man set her on fire because he thought she was cheating on him.
