LACKAWANNA COUNTY - A bus driver is in the hospital after police say someone threw an object off an overpass and hit the windshield of the bus.
This all happened around 11:30 last night on Interstate 81 in Greenfield Township .
The object shattered the windshield and sent glass into the driver's eye.
Luckily he was able to safely stop the bus filled with 44 passengers.
It wasn't until 4 a. m. when another bus arrived to pick them up from a nearby rest area.
The bus was headed from Port Authority in New York to Toronto . | | |
